Lovely hotel with modern rooms, magnificent views on to the lake. Location close to the beach promenade, which is excellent and restaurants, beaches, shops, lake view and the marina on Lake Constance. For tea or coffee visit Delicomb nearby. Great stay, as always.

Country environment was very nice.
The staff said to us we are in the "bridal suite". The room was of a 1960's decore, the bed saggy. The price paid was far too much for a very poor standard room. There was no soap in the bathroom. One bedside light did not work. At breakfast we were the only couple although there were other guests in more up to date rooms with mini-kitchen facilities. The waitress for breakfast was particularly un-friendly and was busy cleaning the restaurant area and made us feel like we should not even be there.

Great staff. Michael arranged a sailing trip for us which was very nice. The front desk and service staff were friendly and helpful. Tobias can mix a great vodka martini cocktail. The food was good at the restaurant, and breakfast was abundant and delicious.
There is no air-conditioning in the room. The lighting by the sink was very low. There were signs of construction on the ceiling in my room that had not been concealed or repaired - looked sloppy. These things did not really affect the pleasure of my visit though.

I had an absolutely mind-blowing stay at this hotel! The location was super, right on the promenade with jaw-dropping views of the water. Although my room didn't have a lake view, it was still clean, comfortable, and well-lit with three windows. The staff was incredibly helpful and moved me to a room with a better view when I mentioned it. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. The restaurant and bar were top-notch, with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The whole hotel was very quiet, and the town itself was lovely. I can only imagine how amazing the view would have been if it wasn't foggy during my stay. I had a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this hotel!

In our opinion the hotel was not 4 star. We thought we had booked a lakeside hotel but found there were two roads between the hotel and the lake and some trees. We were told we had not booked a lake view room and we paid extra for a limited view over the two roads and some trees. The restaurant was dissapointing. Work was being carried out whilst we were there and the place looked as though it needed a lot more work doing to bring up to it's rating.

Nice location, nice terras to have breakfast, prime view on lake.
No hotel-parking, although indicated on website. Some parts of hotel still "under construction", which looks untidy.

The location was excellent. Wonderful buffett breakfast. Beautiful little city/park areas to walk around with lots of little restrauants.
The bathrooms were a bit small, but clean. The mattress were tired.

I had an absolutely incredible time at this hotel! The staff was beyond friendly, always greeting me with a smile and going above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome. The room itself was stunning, with modern decor and all the amenities I could ask for. And the fact that I could bring my puppy along for just a small fee was a true game-changer - no need to worry about finding a pet-sitter! The location was unbeatable, right by the lake and offering breathtaking views. The cleanliness of the room was top-notch, and I loved the floor-to-ceiling windows that allowed me to enjoy the lake breeze. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options and the opportunity to have personalized omelettes or eggs made by a cook. The hotel's position by the marina on Lake Constance was simply superb. While I personally prefer a lake view in my room, I still found my single room to be comfortable and convenient, complete with a fridge and coffee machine. The spa was easily accessible and a wonderful way to relax. The parking situation was a bit inconvenient with the need to use a public car park, but the proximity to shops, restaurants, and the train station made up for it. I had a truly fantastic stay and would definitely return in the future.

Well designed, the staff were helpful and friendly and the food was really good.
It was way too hot in my room. I had to sleep with the terrace door open (which was nice) until the early morning when the brewery delivery on the first morning and a street cleaner the 2nd morning woke me and kept me awake. It was very noisy!
